Blind beauty – A Haiku

Lora

Her brown eyes glisten
In the bright, warm summer sun
She is beautiful

She does not see it
How her long hair flows just so
How I look at her

The way that she smiles
Lights up the darkest of rooms
But she can’t see it

She does not see that —
When she enters, they all stop
But I know and see

She is my sweet wife
She cannot see what I know
I still love her so

To my wife, for the Haiku writing challenge
